I love your use of phrase that we need to lay a “stone” not throw a “stone” My second marriage is unexpectedly ending after 15 years and after much wrestling in prayer to understand and to be led from here, I felt the Lord gave me analogies using stones as well. He told me my first (abusive) marriage was like a grinding stone…it kept me down and ground at the core of my being. Also I felt that the second marriage has been like a “millstone.” To make sure I’d never have to walk on eggshells again, I married a very easy-natured person but with no ambition and I was very much carrying him throughout the marriage. At last, I think, he resented it and unfaithfulness happened. Now I’m seeing that the Lord is telling me He is going to my “Rock of Gibralter” and my “cornerstone” for a new foundation. Even though, I’m now 60…I’m starting to spark my hope again of a new beginning. Your lessons are really helping me get through this period. Thank you very much! Teri Lubbers
